“Lost In Attraction”, counts a total of 13 Melodic Hard Rock tracks that bring back memories to that golden 80´s decade, that was ruled by mainly American and Canadian acts. Strong melodies, powerful vocals, huge choruses, catchy riffs, ear-catching keyboards … you name it, these guys deliver it. ¡ A gem to discover !
¡ Another great album by Michael Bolton !, filled with great songs, solid production and the superb vocal work of Mr.Bolton, maybe the last album with AOR feelings by the magnificient vocalist. a record full of great and emotional songs.
Awesome AOR from this Canadian female singer. Amazing album with fantastic keys, smooth vocals, memorable songs from start to finish filled with catchy rhythms, hooks and vibes, anyone into female-fronted melodic rock/AOR would be crazy to pass on this one.
This is the new single from the forthcoming Stryper´s album "The Covering", a Record filled with covers from Van Halen, Scorpions, Deep Purple and many more. Amazing cover for an amazing song.(Just one song)
Frozen Inside is symphonic and gothic metal with a Christian message. The songs are layered with atmospheric keyboards and thick guitars. There are also plenty of orchestral parts with strings and choirs. HB's style is similar to groups like Within Temptation and Nightwish. ¡ Strong album for all Symphonic fans !
¡ The boys are back in town !, Terry Brock and company are back with a beautiful and delicious new album, maybe dont have the power and production of "Walk In The Fire" but is a wonderful album filled with majestic songs full of feeling, awesome lyrics as ever and the powerful voice of Terry Brock, for me this is a really great comeback.
This is a Demo from a band from Lima (Peru), is an Ep with 3 songs (including a version of Stratovarius anthem "Black Diamond") They practice a 90´s Power Metal style with faster guitars, great keyboards and lots of melody. If you like bands like Sunrise or Emerald Sun, check this. ¡ Good Work !
HOUSTON are firing off classic 80s AOR in the vein of Journey and Survivor. The duo courtesy of Hampus Erix and Freddie Allan got help in the studio by cracks like Tommy Denander, Mats Olausson and Thomas Vikström plus Ricky Delin (Rainmaker) at the production helm and the result is simply stunning – pure and classy 80s flavoured AOR stuff nexto to Bad Habit, H.e.a.t., Alien, and Treat. Probably the best AOR album of this year, excellent melodic rhythms, fantastic keyboard work and outstanding catchy songs. ¡ Brilliant !
Superb collaboration between the powerful voices of Michael Kiske and Amanda Somerville, An album that no need any comment. the cover says it all.
ISSA (Isabell Oversveen) is a 26 year old singer from Oslo, Norway, and she’s not a rookie.
Kamelot's newest studio endeavor, Poetry For the Poisoned, is probably their most ambitious and diverse studio recording to date, is slower-paced, never really soaring past mid-tempo, and there's a lot of space. Riffs are not overly cluttered by speeding double bass or unnecessary shredding,Definitely recommended if you want to hear a good, deep, and slightly melancholy power/progressive metal album that rests on the strength of the songwriting and the cool, confident skill of each band member.
We´re back with an amazing album from Argentina (With Spanish lyrics), a solid bunch of 80´s Hard Rock/Hair Metal style with lot of attitude, great guitar rhythmns and destroyer tracks, ¡ check it out ! |
